When Someone Says, “Let’s Create Something Together”

There are some moments in a small business that might look quite ordinary from the outside, but on the inside, they feel enormous.

Recently, I was asked if I’d like to collaborate with another small business.

Just writing that still makes me smile.

When Melting Moments began, it was simply me, some wax, a candle-making kit and an idea that slowly grew into something I loved. I certainly wasn't imagining collaborations or another small business one day looking at what I had created and thinking, I'd like to work with you.

But that's exactly what happened.

And perhaps that's why this particular moment means so much.

And perhaps that's why this particular moment means so much.

It isn't about how big my business is, how many followers I have or how many orders I've packed. It's about someone else seeing value in this little thing I've built with so much care.

We're creating something rather special together,  and I'm not going to spoil the surprise just yet. There'll be plenty of time for that.

For now, I just want to appreciate this moment for what it is.

A little reminder that sometimes growth doesn't arrive with a huge announcement. Sometimes it arrives quietly, in a message that says…

“Would you like to create something together?”

And that is most definitely a Moment to Melt For. 🤍
