If you've been following Melting Moments for a little while, you might have noticed that things are looking a little different around here.
There's been a bit of a makeover!
New colours, refreshed packaging, a few changes to the website and, of course, a growing collection of ideas that my husband probably wishes I'd stop coming up with! 🤣
But there's a little story behind these changes that I wanted to share.
Finding the Melting Moments Feeling
When I first started Melting Moments, I was simply excited about creating beautiful fragrances and making something with my own hands. I certainly didn't imagine I'd one day be spending hours deciding between different shades of cream and sage green! But as this little business has grown, I've started to understand more clearly what I want Melting Moments to feel like.
Calm. Cosy. Welcoming. Thoughtful.
A place where the little things matter.
And I wanted the website, packaging and everything in between to reflect that feeling.
More Than Just a Makeover
It's easy to think that changing a business's colours or packaging is simply about making things look prettier. And yes, I absolutely love how everything is coming together! But for me, it's about something a little deeper.
It's about creating an experience that feels special, whether you're browsing the website with a cuppa, reading one of my blogs or opening a parcel that's been carefully wrapped and packed. I want those little details to feel like Melting Moments. Because I've always believed that the smallest things can make the biggest difference.
The Things That Haven't Changed
Although the colours might be different, the heart of Melting Moments is exactly where it's always been. Every wax melt and candle is still lovingly handmade. Every order still makes me smile. Every lovely review still means the world to me. And every parcel is still packed with the same care and excitement as the very first one.There will always be new ideas, new collections and probably a few moments of complete chaos behind the scenes. But that's part of the story too.
Growing, One Little Moment at a Time
I've learned that building a small business isn't about having everything figured out from the beginning. It's about learning what works, finding your confidence and sometimes being brave enough to change direction. This little refresh feels like another step in that journey. And while I'm excited about how Melting Moments is growing, I'm even more excited about creating a space that feels genuinely welcoming to everyone who visits. So whether you've been here from the very beginning or have only just discovered my little business, thank you for being part of its story.
The colours may have changed, but the love, care and heart behind Melting Moments never will. 🤍
And as for what comes next? Well, I do have a few ideas... But perhaps I'd better let my husband enjoy a quiet evening first!
